Randy Turner, B.Sc., P.Geo.
Position: Executive Chairman

Mr. Turner was appointed as Triex's Executive Chairman in December 2005, having served as a Director and the Company's President since 2003. Currently Mr. Turner also serves as President & CEO of Diamondex Resources Ltd., which first traded as a "spin-off" from Winspear Diamonds Inc. in 1999. As former President of Winspear, Mr. Turner guided the Company from the discovery of the Snap Lake diamond deposit through to the sale of it to De Beers Mining of Canada for C$308 million.

Prior to his position at Winspear, as President of Trimin Resources Ltd., Mr. Turner was involved in the development and sale of the McIlvenna Bay copper/zinc deposit, Saskatchewan for $17.5 million. From 1977 - 1989, while working for Esso Minerals Canada in various capacities, he was involved in acquisitions and joint ventures exploring for uranium, gold and base metals. Previously, he worked for AGIP Mining Corporation in Australia and in U.S.A. (Texas and Colorado) in the early 1970's exploring for uranium, gold and base metals.

In January 2008, as recognition for his contribution to the industry, Mr. Turner received the Hugo Dummett Diamond Award for Excellence in Diamond Exploration and Development from the B.C. and Yukon Chamber of Mines.

Mr. Turner is a Professional Geologist and a Member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.

 
Michael Gunning, Ph.D., P.Geo.
Position: President & CEO

Dr. Gunning brings to Triex more than 20 years of diverse and valuable experience in mineral exploration, regional mapping and geological research. He comes to Triex from the Saskatchewan Geological Survey where he was the principal Mineral Deposits Research Geologist, and responsible for publication and presentation of Exploration and Development overviews for the province. He also completed a field-based study of the Hoidas Lake rare-element belt north of Uranium City in 2004. Just prior to his departure from the survey, Dr. Gunning was asked to Manage the Minerals Group within the Strategic Development division of Saskatchewan Industry and Resources (SIR), and he successfully proposed, developed and initiated a new Natural Gas from Coal initiative for the province. Prior to joining SIR in 2002, Mike was a Senior Project Geologist in Exploration at Teck Cominco, exploring in the Canadian Arctic and South America.

Dr. Gunning has a Ph.D. in Mineral Deposits and volcanology from the University of Western Ontario. His work was supported by the GSC and is published extensively. Michael established numerous initiatives at SEG while President of the student chapter at Western. He will hold the position of Past President of the Saskatchewan Geological Society for 2006.

 
John McDonald, Ph.D., P.Geo.
Position: Director

Dr. McDonald was the V.P. Exploration for both Diamondex and Winspear Diamonds Inc., designing and developing their exploration focus. He and his technical team were directly responsible for the discovery and development of the Snap Lake diamond deposit, acquired by De Beers for C$308 million in 2000. His field success is complemented by a prestigious academic career including a 13-year tenure as a university professor in Saskatchewan, Canada and Canberra, Australia. Prior to Dr. McDonald joining the Winspear team, he was the Chief Geologist and Exploration Manager, Western Canada, for Esso Minerals Canada for a period of ten years.

His peers have recognized him for his contribution to the industry and for the 18 months he served as Interim Director for the Mineral Deposit Research Unit (MDRU) at the University of British Columbia. In 2000 Dr. McDonald received the HH "Spud" Huestis award for excellence in prospecting and mineral exploration from the B.C. and Yukon Chamber of Mines.

 
Hugh Morris, Ph.D., P.Eng., F.R.S.C.
Position: Director

From 1968 to 1979, Dr. Morris held a series of positions with Cominco Ltd. in its Exploration and Mining Departments, eventually becoming a Director of Exploration for Cominco's worldwide activities. In 1979, Dr. Morris was associated with the E & B Geomex Group of affiliated companies, leading in 1983 to his appointment as Chairman and C.E.O of Imperial Metals.

Since his retirement in 1993, Dr. Morris has been a mineral industry consultant and director of several public companies. He is currently Chairman of Eldorado Gold Corporation and a Director of Pacific Northern Gas Ltd., Eureka Resources Inc, Diamondex Resources Ltd. and was a Director of Winspear Diamonds Inc.

Dr. Morris is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.

 
Robert Weicker, B.Sc., P.Geo
Position: Director

Mr. Weicker has over twenty-five years in the mineral exploration and mining industry, from greenfield exploration to production operations. His early career included serving as a geologist to several Noranda Mines Group companies, following several years in the uranium exploration business with companies such as Lacana Mining Corp, PanContinental Mining Ltd., and Derry, Mitchener, Booth and Wahl. Mr. Weicker joined Lac Minerals in 1984, and in 1988, was appointed chief geologist at the Williams mine, the largest gold mine in Canada. In 1989 he assumed the role as chief mining geologist for Equinox Resources Ltd. and was involved with the startup, development and production of the Van Stone zinc mine in Washington; exploration and development of the Rosebud UG gold mine in Nevada; and direct supervision of a multimillion-dollar development program on a polymetallic deposit in British Columbia, resulting in a significant expansion of reserves and the discovery of the Yellow Jacket zinc deposit. Since 1999, Mr. Weicker has developed his own consulting company, with a focus on Asia, Mongolia and Nevada. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo in Ontario with an honours earth science, and is a professional geoscientist of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.

 
J. Christopher Mitchell, P. Eng.
Position: Chief Financial Officer

J. Christopher Mitchell, P. Eng., is an independent business consultant. He is the Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") of Triex Minerals Corporation.

Mr. Mitchell has been employed in the minerals industry for over 30 years, initially as a metallurgist and financial analyst. Since 1970, he has held positions of increasing responsibility in corporate finance and administration, marketing of base and precious metals concentrates, environmental permitting and senior executive management with mining companies in Canada and the United States whose shares are listed on The Toronto Stock Exchange.

During the nine year period ended August 1996, Mr. Mitchell served as a Senior Vice President of Viceroy Resource Corporation, a gold mining company. From September 1996 to September 2000, Mr. Mitchell served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Orvana Minerals Corp., a gold exploration and mining company, and from October 2000 to June 2003, Mr. Mitchell served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Constellation Copper Corporation, a company with oxide copper deposits at the development stage in the United States and Mexico. From July 2003 to May 2004 he served as CFO of Diamondex and First Point Minerals Corp. and from June 2004 to July 2005, he served as President and CFO of First Point.

Mr. Mitchell is a director of First Point Minerals and Orvana Minerals Corp.

Mr. Mitchell, who holds MBA (Finance) and M.Sc. (Metallurgy) degrees from the University of British Columbia, is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.

 
Louis G. Montpellier
Position: Corporate Secretary

Mr. Montpellier has been practising law in Vancouver, British Columbia since 1981 and since 1983 has worked exclusively in the capital markets as counsel to emerging issuers and listed public companies. During that period, Mr. Montpellier has assisted a wide range of businesses in the entire spectrum of corporate finance activities, from accessing seed capital for private companies through to IPO's and subsequent public and private financings. Mr. Montpellier also has experience in debt and project financing, acting both for lenders and borrowers, with a particular emphasis on the financing of mineral projects.

Mr. Montpellier is identified in a number of publications as one of Canada's leading mining lawyers and has a wide range of experience in the mineral exploration and development business.
